HomeSafe offers the following on-line courses:
    1. CA DPH General Lead Refresher (CEG)
        7-Hours; Class fee: $175.00
        CDPH Accreditation: HSI-036-CEG (OL)

    The General Lead Refresher (CEG) is a continuing education class required every two (2) years for CA certified Supervisors, Project Monitors, Sampling Technicians and Inspector/Risk Assessors. This is NOT for Lead Workers.

    This CDPH accredited class has 2 parts:

    Part 1 - "on-line" (about 5 hours) - 11 lessons review key concepts learned during initial certification training plus updates on current regulatory, technological and industry trends are discussed.

    Part 2 - "in-person" (less than 1-hour) - students perform a Hands-On exercise (dust wipe or goose neck seal) and take a 35-question Final Exam at one of nine (9) California locations *.

    2. EPA Renovation, Repair & Painting Rule Refresher (RRP-R)
        4-Hours; Class fee: $95.00
        EPA Accreditation: NAT-RV-R-18317-1-EN-E

    This EPA accredited class must be completed BEFORE previous certification expires. The course reviews material from the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule initial certification training. Eight lessons cover: regulations, lead safe work practices, cleaning, record keeping, non-certified worker training and unique state requirements.

    After passing a 35-question on-line final exam and submitting the required documentation to HomeSafe, students receive RRP Certification good for three (3) years from the date of the exam. (Regulatory Authority: TCSA Section 402 & 40 CFR Part 745 Subpart L)

    3. Lead Awareness (LAW)
        Class fee: $40.00

    This course is designed to familiarize students with basic occupational safety and health principles relating to Lead Awareness in Construction. The course provides a general awareness of the risks involved and the regulatory requirements for protecting employees who work with lead.

    Course Topics include: What is Lead, Health Effects of Lead, Lead Safe Work Practices and OSHA initial and annual lead awareness training requirements specified in 29 CFR 1926.59 and 29 CFR 1926.62(l).
